Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
Happy Friday and God bless all of you.
Below are some announcements and attached you will find our Bulletin for this weekend.
WEEKEND ANNOUNCEMENTS for: February 8th – 9th
Did you know?
Catholics make the small Sign of the Cross on their forehead, lips, and heart before the Gospel reading as a prayerful gesture with deep meaning. This action symbolizes their desire for the Word of God to be in their mind, on their lips, and in their heart.
Specifically:
Forehead: May the Word of the Lord be in my mind, that I may understand it.
Lips: May the Word of the Lord be on my lips, that I may proclaim it.
Heart: May the Word of the Lord be in my heart, that I may love and live it.
This practice is a beautiful way to prepare oneself to hear and respond to the Gospel with faith and action!
- 3rd Annual Crab Feed—The Knights will hold their 3rd Annual Mel Ormonde Memorial Crab Feed on Saturday, March 1st, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Advance tickets will be available for purchase after Masses beginning February 8th & 9th. More details are in this weekend’s bulletin.
